Packaging and products bearing the OK compost INDUSTRIAL logo guarantee that they are biodegradable in an industrial composting facility. This applies to all their components, including inks and additives. The certification program is based on the EN 13432:2000 standard. This means that any product featuring the OK compost INDUSTRIAL logo complies with the requirements of the European Packaging Directive (94/62/EC).
These certifications make it possible to obtain the license required to display the compliance label along with its registration number. This logo is essential to verify the authenticity of compostability.

RECYCLED PET MATERIAL (rPET)

Since November 2024, PROTEKE has been certified with the Global Recycled Standard (G.R.S.). We are capable of demonstrating a responsible and transparent use of recycled materials in final products. Our aim is to bring genuine authenticity to our value chain and ensure a strong commitment to sustainability, waste reduction, and the responsible use of resources. Our goal: TO SUPPORT YOU!

Advantages of rPET:

– Strong, flexible, lightweight, chemical-resistant, safe, and unbreakable recycled plastic.
– Long-lasting waterproof properties.
– Recycling one ton of PET plastic (rPET) reduces 2.29 tons of CO2 equivalent compared to using new materials.
– Cost-effective.
– Gives materials a second life, preventing them from ending up in landfills or oceans.
– Producing a plastic bottle from 100% recycled material requires 75% less energy than producing one from new plastic.
– 100% rPET allows each bottle to have a new life—a second, third… infinitely!
